Not Dead, Just Resting
Or maybe I'm just increasingly uninspired by the lack of interesting movies coming out of Hollywood.
I did see Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, which I liked. Original and goofy-fun enough to make the 14-year-old boy in me happy.
Otherwise there's just not much out there to get my ass off the couch.
Fortunately fall is coming, and all the indies and Oscar bait. So there's hope.

Glad to hear your still kickin' bro. I was beginning to think you had abandoned your blog. Stangely enough I've actually been thinking about starting my own blog. IF I do I'm going to set up some rules for posting, and gear it towards those who think of themselves as creative writers. Maybe call it something like, "E.C. Henry's Writing Oasis for Creative Minds."
2009-to-2010 have been VERY BAD for the creative side of the ledger as far as original, thought provoking, wide-release movies go. Where are all the great minds in Hollywood? Dude, where you hiding them?
Should be ineteresting to see what the academy slates as 2010's best (good luck with that, hehehe). So far, for my money, the only movie that deserves an Oscar nod is "Inception" and I think that movie really had some late Act II to III issues.
Hope your writing is going well. Sorry I haven't submitted a new script to you for some time. YES, I am still writting. My problem has been putting in 1-2 hours a day CONSISTANTLY. I'll be good for a day or two THEN the job has me work 12+ hours a couple days in a row, usually on Friday/Saturday and then I loose the momentum and have to refind it again. Sigh...
Their are so many trade-offs in life. Do you wanna eat well? Or just pursue "the dream" and risk stavation as you live on nickles and dimes? Did the later for years :P
