Sorry - I had to delete my first comment, embarrassing misspelling!!

That was well done. It's the first time I really understand what's at issue, and what the writers are asking for is very reasonable.

I don't watch network television. I gave up my satellite dish 7-8 months ago and have been watching everything online (30 Rock) or on DVD (Weeds, the Office, etc.). I didn't start watching the Sopranos until last year, working through the first 2 seasons on DVD over the holdiays. There are other(patient) people like me who don't get around to watching series until they're on DVD. It just makes sense that the cut to the writer is the same regardless of channel.
