The Cinematic Geography of Los Angeles

This is pretty cool, especially for those of us who live around here.

Very cool. I live about an hour outside the city now, but as a kid being from and growing up in LA, I recognized a lot of those places and knew what film(s) they had been in before the answer was shown. Thanks for that memory lane stroll, Scott.

This is cool, but alas, way too long. If they'd have cut out the Google Earth part they could have shortened it by 2.5 minutes.

I should be a studio exec.

The Puente Hills Mall -- I was out there a couple years ago for a friend's birthday party, and was very psyched to learn it was the Back to the Future location.

Very cool. I can think of some of my favorite LA Scenes that they didn't include... like some gritty harbor scenes in 52 Pick Up.

Hardly a day goes by here without spotting a film crew somewhere nearby!

I love L.A.!

Always have, always will.
